Phat Philly's Cheesesteaks Information

Located in the heart of Tulsa, Phat Philly's Cheesesteaks has quickly become a local favorite for anyone craving a classic Philly cheesesteak with a twist. Situated at 1305 S Peoria Ave, this spot brings a bit of East Coast flavor to the Oklahoma scene, offering up hearty, mouth-watering sandwiches that live up to the Philly name. If you’re a fan of big, juicy sandwiches stacked with tender meat and melted cheese, this place is a must-try.

Walking into Phat Philly’s, the vibe is casual and inviting. The bright, laid-back atmosphere feels like a perfect blend of a traditional diner and a modern comfort food joint. The service is friendly and quick, with staff that seems genuinely excited to introduce new customers to their menu. And, if you’re lucky, you might even catch a whiff of sizzling steaks on the grill, which is always a good sign.

The menu at Phat Philly’s is simple yet incredibly satisfying, offering a variety of cheesesteak options that cater to different tastes. Of course, the classic Philly cheesesteak is a crowd-pleaser, piled high with thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, and gooey melted cheese, all sandwiched between a soft hoagie roll. But if you're feeling adventurous, there are plenty of variations to explore. The "Philly Chicken" swaps out the ribeye for juicy chicken, and the "BBQ Philly" adds a tangy barbecue sauce for a little extra kick. For those who love a good spice, the "Spicy Philly" brings the heat with jalapeños and hot sauce.

Don’t sleep on the sides either. The fries are golden and crispy, perfectly complementing any sandwich, and they offer an array of sauces to dip them in, from ranch to a zesty homemade garlic butter. If you're in the mood for something a little more indulgent, try the cheese fries-they’re smothered in cheese and just the right amount of seasoning, making them the ideal side to go with any Philly.

The best part about Phat Philly's is that it’s a spot that feels both familiar and fresh. Whether you're a regular, popping in for your go-to sandwich, or a first-timer, you’ll be welcomed with a smile and a satisfying meal. With its unbeatable combo of delicious food, chill vibe, and friendly service, it’s no surprise that this place is quickly becoming a go-to for anyone in the area looking for a quality cheesesteak. What People's Say About Place

Five stars across the board. Kinda pricey but it was definitely worth it. It is so laid back and the employees were respectful and friendly. The food. Top tier. Would definitely stop again if in the area. Hands down amazing

Very very good food. Great staff made me feel just like I walked into a relatives house that I haven't seen in forever and they had the biggest welcome home! (mind you never have I been here) 10/10 for food and beer spots will be back and 100% recommend.

Favorite go-to lunch spot? Hadn't been in a long time, been enjoying these cheese steaks since high school in the early 2000s. Staff was courteous. Food came quickly. Table could have been a little bit cleaner. Location's convenient for downtown. Parking is a breeze.

An unexpected stop for lunch! I was pleasantly surprised! This was a very good Philly Cheesesteak! Looks like the Tots are preferred but I opted for the Waffle Fries - surprisingly good! The place was clean and inside appearance was decorated nicely. This is definitely a place I would visit again!

Food was amazing. It was so good I couldn't put it down. I was stuffed went there 2 days in a row. Got a smaller one with chicken the next day. 1st day I had the Philly cheese steak.

One of the best cheesesteak I ever ate outside Philly! Philly folks know it's about the bread (Amoroso rolls!), stuffed with meat, and we dont do cheese whiz (tourist thing) but whiz is good on their waffle fries. My steak with american cheese (provolone also good) was def good enough to me for the prcie. This steak was loaded with quality meat and the local bakery they use isn't as good as Philly bread but damn close. (They could have amoroso rolls shipped).

Phat Philly's Cheesesteaks are hands down the best Philly Cheesestakes I have ever had in my life! To some, this would seem like a little hole in the wall restaurant. To those who are Tulsan Natives, they know the place quite well. I have never heard a bad word spoken about Phat Philly's. If you havent tried it, then you should! It is great at 2 in the afternoon or even better at 2 in the morning! I always order the 7" philly cheesesteak with waffle fries and a drink. They do have an 11" option, however, they're soo "phat" I only eat half of the 7 inch and take the rest to go. Overall, I highly recommend Phat Philly's!

As a Door Dasher that thats seen a lot of food... THIS is good food. Walking into the place might feel like your stepping back in time with your friends. When youd just hang out in the garage or wherever and just hang out. The people here are very patient and will respectfully help you with any problem you might have. Be sure to bring cash though. I really dont want this part to put much damper on the establishment but they DO NOT accept "tap to pay". Not even mad about it, I just feel like its worth mentioning. 10/10 experience.
